Rev. Josiah Guidoa Mesleh currently serves as the General Secretary of the Assemblies of God Liberia, Inc., and is the founding and lead pastor of the Freedom Center Assemblies of God Church. He has been married to Pastor Jacqueline T. B. Mesleh since 2009, and their union is blessed with a daughter, Mae Piaser Melody Mesleh, along with numerous spiritual children who have been impacted by their ministry.

Born into a devout Christian family, Rev. Mesleh is the son of the late Rev. Robert G. Mesleh, former Assistant General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Liberia, and Rev. Mae D. Mesleh, a devoted woman of prayer. Growing up as a pastor’s child, he embraced his call to ministry in 2001 and has since served the church faithfully in various leadership capacities. He was youth president of the First Assemblies of God Church from 2005 to 2008, served as Monrovia District Christ Ambassadors Secretary (2005–2007), and later as National Christ Ambassadors Secretary (2007–2009). He became National Christ Ambassadors Director in 2010, serving until 2018, and then transitioned to the role of National Missions Director from 2018 to 2022. In early 2022, he was briefly elected Monrovia District Secretary before being elevated to the position of General Secretary, which he currently holds.

Rev. Mesleh’s educational background reflects both theological and academic rigor. He completed secondary school in 2008 and initially pursued a degree in Geology at the University of Liberia (2001–2004) before transferring to the Liberia Assemblies of God Bible College, where he earned a Bachelor of Theology in 2008. He continued his theological studies at the Assemblies of God Graduate School of Theology in Lomé, Togo, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Missiology in 2012. He is currely pursusing a PhD degree.

Rev. Josiah Guidoa Mesleh is a passionate teacher, pastor, revivalist, and a strong advocate for missions and youth ministry. His life and service continue to inspire a new generation of believers across Liberia and beyond, as he remains committed to equipping the church for holistic ministry and global evangelism.
