Rev. Emmanuel K. Zabay Sr. is the current Assistant General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Liberia, Inc., and a veteran minister with decades of dedicated service to the church and the nation.

Since 2001, he has faithfully served as Senior Pastor of Good News Assemblies of God Church, located on 24th Street, Sinkor, Monrovia. Prior to that, he served as Assistant Pastor of the same congregation from 1997 to 2001.

Rev. Zabay has formerly held several leadership roles within the Assemblies of God Liberia, Inc., including Monrovia District Section One Secretary (3 years), Monrovia District Secretary (9 years), Monrovia District Superintendent (4 years), General Secretary of the Assemblies of God Liberia, Inc. (2014–2022).

In addition to his ministerial duties, Rev. Zabay has served the education sector in various capacities. He has worked as a teacher, school principal, board chair of multiple schools, and as an adjunct faculty member of the Liberia Assemblies of God Bible College.

His academic background includes a Diploma in Theology from the Evangel Bible College in Sierra Leone (1995), a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Liberia (2001), and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Liberia (2009).

Rev. Zabay is married to Rev. Comfort Shar Zabay, and their union is blessed with several biological, spiritual, and foster children. Together, they are devoted to building strong Christian families and nurturing the next generation of leaders in the body of Christ.
